Data Usage and Ownership Disclosure
At TradesForce LLC ("TradesForce"), we believe in complete transparency regarding data ownership and usage rights. This disclosure explains how we handle data ownership, use client information, and manage derived insights.
Data Ownership
Our policy on data ownership is straightforward: clients retain full ownership of all data provided to TradesForce. This ownership extends to all raw data, processed data, metadata, configuration files, business rules, data models, custom algorithms, and client-specific workflows.
When it comes to work products and derived materials, ownership is determined by specificity. All client-specific materials, including analytics results, custom reports, tailored dashboards, and specific data models developed for a client, remain the property of that client. TradesForce retains ownership only of generic methodologies, non-client-specific best practices, anonymized industry benchmarks, common workflow patterns, and standard templates and frameworks that we develop during our engagements.
Data Usage Rights
TradesForce's use of client data is strictly limited to delivering our contracted services, supporting client operations, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining and improving our services, and, with client consent, generating anonymized aggregated statistics and industry benchmarks. We may also use client data for internal training purposes, but only with explicit client permission.
We maintain strict boundaries around data usage. TradesForce will never sell client data, share it with third parties without explicit permission, use it for purposes outside our service agreement, combine it with other clients' data in identifiable form, use it for competitive analysis against the client, or retain it beyond the agreed retention period.
Insights and Analytics
All client-specific insights and analytics results are owned exclusively by the client, including custom reports, performance analytics, optimization recommendations, process improvements, ROI calculations, and efficiency metrics.
TradesForce may generate anonymous industry benchmarks, trend analyses, and best practices from aggregated data, provided that no individual client can be identified, data is aggregated from multiple sources, client confidentiality is maintained, and clients have not opted out of such usage.
Intellectual Property
TradesForce retains ownership of our proprietary methodologies, tools, technologies, standard operating procedures, generic workflows, non-custom templates, service delivery frameworks, and knowledge base content. Clients retain ownership of their proprietary methodologies, custom workflows, specific business rules, domain-specific algorithms, custom integrations, and specialized processes.
Usage Terms and Duration
Our usage rights extend throughout the service engagement and any agreed maintenance period, ending upon contract termination unless otherwise specified. Upon engagement completion, client data will be returned or destroyed per our agreement, though we may retain anonymized insights and generic learnings as part of our knowledge base after removing all client-specific details.
Client Control and Transparency
We empower clients with control over their data. Clients may request usage reports, audit our usage, restrict certain uses, request data deletion, opt out of aggregated analytics, and modify usage permissions. TradesForce provides clear usage documentation, regular status updates, prompt notification of changes, and impact assessments upon request.
Special Data Considerations
Financial and sensitive data receive enhanced protection through additional restrictions, regulatory compliance measures, special handling procedures, and enhanced security controls. These measures ensure compliance with industry regulations while maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
Updates to This Disclosure
TradesForce reserves the right to update this disclosure as our services evolve. We will communicate all changes to clients, with material changes requiring client consent. We maintain historical versions and provide appropriate transition periods for any significant changes.
